Stop the One-Parent Society from Becoming a Reality:
Join the "Parents Rising" Rally at the Suffolk County Supreme Court on
Wednesday, October 3, 2012

Make your presence felt and voice heard on Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at
8am at Suffolk County Courthouse, 400 Carleton Avenue, Central Islip, NY

New York, NY (September 5, 2012) It's time for those in power to be
held accountable for their role in creating a one- parent society by the
positions they take and the unjust rulings they make.

This day of reckoning, known as "Parents Rising" is Wednesday October 3,
2012 beginning at 8am in front of the Suffolk County Courthouse in
Central Islip, NY.

For too long, a lopsided, unjust and summarily broken judicial system
has allowed incompetent judges to rule with blind eyes and iron fists
with almost absolute immunity. As time marches on, clearly there is
little thought about how consistent and persistent unfair rulings
against quality, caring and loving parents continue to ruin lives. The
New York divorce system must be fixed immediately because:

Parental Alienation (brainwashing a child against a parent) is the
Ultimate hate crime.
Judges have turned divorced parents into an ATM, encouraged by Federal
It continues to deny parents the basic rights ALL people deserve and
are entitled to in our constitution.
Family courts are abusing the rights of children...the very
individuals they are supposed to be protecting.
Children have a right to have a relationship with BOTH their parents.

"If you are neutral in situations of injustice, you have chosen the side
of the oppressor." Desmond Tutu

"The world will not be destroyed by those who do evil, but by those who
watch them without doing anything." Albert Einstein

Don't stand on the sidelines and watch these atrocities continue to
occur. Join Gary Jacobs and Americans for Legal Reform at the Suffolk
County Courthouse in Central Islip, NY on October 3 and join "Parents
Rising" to stop our society's spiral into a single society.

Supreme Court Dockets Parenting Rights Case

UTICA, New York (September 25, 2012) - After working its way through the
federal courts over the past four years, the case of John Parent v State
of New York,, was docketed by the Supreme Court under Case Number
12-350 and now awaits decision by the Justices after briefing deadlines
set for October 22nd.

This precedent seeking case challenges mandatory classifications of
custody and non-custody in all divorce and family court disputes. The
lawsuit maintains that an unequal doctrine of parenting laws in the
states causes needless money transfers which harm parent-child
relationships. The plaintiff-petitioner John Parent is a fictitious name
granted by a lower federal court to represent parents needlessly abused
in our nation's domestic relations courts and seeks to set a limit upon
the states' widespread intrusions of family privacy and joint child
rearing arrangements.

Observers have drawn a striking parallel between Chinese lawyers seeking
asylum in this country and the American civil rights attorney behind the
John Parent case in view of retributions upon the public criticisms of
each nation's domestic relations practices.

The Parenting Rights Institute is a public interest organization that
seeks to provide resources and assistance to parents abused in divorce
and family court. The Institute is located in central New York with
supporters in all parts of the country. To find out more, please visit
